DESIGN TOOLING Engineer

JOB PROFILE:

1. POSITION OBJECTIVES

To support Tool Design Activities for the existing customer on machining fixtures.

1. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
2. Design and develop tools and equipment used in Aerospace industry while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
3. Utilize Catia V5 CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of tools and components.
4. Work with the materials to choose the most suitable materials for tool components based on their intended use and performance requirements.
5. Creating Tool design Concept design for the Machined Parts.
   • Identify and address design issues or inefficiencies, proposing innovative solutions to improve tool performance and cost-effectiveness.
   • STUDIES: DIPLOMA / B.E /B Tech in Tool design / Mechanical
   • TRAINING COURSES: GD&T, Manufacturing concepts Added advantage.

III. QUALIFICATION

• Knowledge of manufacturing process, GD&T and Material selection.
• Knowledge of creating machining fixtures.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes,
• Knowledge of 2D Detail, and assembly drawing, BOM creation with GD&T concepts.
• CNC Machine Knowledge and Kinematics.
• Good communication skill.
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good exposure of working in Aerospace domain.
• Adept in final quality checks of the deliverables.
